ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sole Panda was founded in 2015 by Steven Töteberg. Thanks to the skills learned working as saddler for car interiors, Steven always wanted to create his own custom sneakers, that no one else had, and the sewing experience from his former job helped him a lot to start this project. One of the rst shoes that brought the Sole Panda on the map was an Air Max 1 made out of genuine vintage sport materials. One of the best known masterpieces created by Steven is the Asics Gel Lyte III “Apex”, made on commission for a close friend of the Sole Panda, Terance Watson, the boss of OTS Shoeshop. The idea was to create an handmade sneaker that could melt together two great brands like Asics and The North Face. From that point on things went straight up for Steven and a dream came true when Nike asked him to customize a shoe for one of their athletes... Always rock, never stock!
