Nicola Ferrarese lives and works in Treviso as a freelance illustrator. After having passed through all the jobs in the world, he's decided to travel the world, and his trips, his innumerable experiences, and the many people he got to know, he still gleans the inspiration for his artistic and work career. Among the many interesting initiatives, it has to be mentioned the publishing house he has founded, Edizioni del Vento (from 2005 to 2009), and the collaborations with AMMO Magazine (UK), SLOW FOOD Magazine, and with COLORS Magazine. Nicola has realized illustrations for the book jackets of the narrative novels of the Spanish GRAN VIA Edizioni and for the Iberian monthly LAMONO. From 2009, he is the organizational co-director of the Treviso Comic Book Festival (TCBF), which occurs over the last two weeks of September and rallies the whole Treviso into expositions, workshops, and various events. The last project launched is 'TI FACCIO UN MURO COSI'', which stands for wall design and interior decoration. He is now specializing on chalk on blackboard, which he uses to give birth to illustrations for many projects, from interior design to the publishing field.
